With experience related to system administration, virtualization engineering, cloud architecture, and financial operations, Andrew Babione brings a rare blend of hands-on engineering skill and strategic business leadership. His professional journey began at Meridian Imaging Solutions, where he provided first- and second-tier support to more than 30 organizations with diverse and individually managed IT environments. His strong technical performance earned him recognition as a top-rated support technician for multiple consecutive months, eventually leading to a promotion.
Building on his cloud engineering and architectural expertise, Mr. Babione transitioned to S&P Global (formerly IHS Markit) as a capacity architect in 2020. There, he helped enterprise customers optimize cloud resources, design cost-efficient infrastructures, improve capacity forecasting, and implement automated rightsizing dashboards. He currently serves as FinOps director, leading large-scale cloud cost-reduction initiatives and driving organizational financial transparency.
